ARTIST BIO

Yawny is a digital artist who works with photo manipulation and 3D modelling/animation. His work is heavily inspired by surrealism in seeking to free things from the drudgery of being useful. Through a creative process that is characterized by playing in a very serious way, his work is an attempt at engaging reality by disengaging from its consequences, momentarily. He believes that this process can allow the individual to live authentically.

From small collages to large scale projects, his art is a highly-personal reflection of the individual in society.
