Absurdism arises from the conflict between the individual desire to seek meaning and an indifferent universe which is apathetic to that desire. While this may seem nihilistic at first glance, I argue that this allows us to be free, truly, from needing validation from people, from anxieties about conforming to tradition. If there is no inherent meaning to be found, the only logical solution would be to create it. Thus, creation is not to be treated lightly. It is the process of meaning-making.
